Low-pressure water mist
extinguishing systems –
high efficiency at low cost

The use of water as an extinguishing agent is not a new invention. However, G&S Brandschutz has increased the efficiency of the extinguishing 6 to 16 bar system. The extinguishing effect of water is mainly based on its heat binding capability at the moment of evaporation. The cooling effect of water can be increased by employing smaller drips, which evaporate much faster. Moreover, the quicker evaporation leads to an enhanced displacement of oxygen over the source of fire.

Low-pressure water mist extinguishing systems are characterized by the special advantage that customary armatures and pipes are utilized.
