Emergency exit plans must fulfil the
following requirements:
- clear structure
- up to date
- sufficient size
- contain definite instructions
- designed with symbols
The contents are mainly restricted to:
- emergency exits
- location
- first aid facilities
- fire fighting facilities
- meeting points
In addition, the emergency exit plans must contain instructions on how to behave in the event of an emergency or a fire as well as headings.
